Love Notes From Boston
Chicago Tribune | Eric Zorn's Notebook:
LET'S STAY ON THE HIGH ROAD, YOU LYING, WARMONGERING PESSIMISTIC ABUSER OF THE CONSTITUTION

Instant analysis of John Kerry's acceptance speech here in Boston:

Yow.
Zorn's column (and blog) is usually the only reason to read the Tribune, except perhaps for the weather or Cubs info, and he fails not. Good. I was beginning to feel twitchy for being so measured in response to Kerry's speech in the previous blogging.

And now, behold, CNN reports that Bush has flip-flopped on his negative campaigning and is going for the Heart and Soul this time, since he's stolen everything else from us:
The Bush campaign has dubbed this next phase of the campaign as the "Heart and Soul Tour: Moving America Forward," a slogan that will be displayed on his campaign bus and will be accompanied by new ads mirroring the theme that will also start Friday.
Think George can pick the tune out on the piano? Oh, god, how many times will we be forced to listen to it?

More later. Things still a little fuzzy around the edges.
