A Tree Is Born


A Friday tree, just for you.

If this looks a little familiar, only backwards, it should be.

This was the original notebook drawing I rendered as a sketch on the litho stone today.



Has been a low-energy week, filled with TV watching and sadness at what is happening in the world.

So I hope this tree will cheer you a little. It stands tall, unlike all of its sisters along the Gulf in Rita's path.

I just can't imagine what it can be like to go through this. I feel so very, very lucky to be living up here.
