Remember this still life? (Or perhaps this version)?



Yes, that's ice in the vase. You laugh when I say it's too cold to paint Back There? Now perhaps you understand?

I have a feeling that freezing temps aren't particularly good for art materials, so am trying to assess what may have burst, exploded on good paper, etc. etc.
