Huh?
Keyes wants mandatory military service

Now we know where the idea for reinstating the draft comes from -- from God, or rather His incarnation as Alan Keyes:
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Alan Keyes told a crowd of Lisle college students Monday he favors two years of mandatory military service following high school for everyone without exception.
...
Keyes said the service also could be diplomatic, but such a requirement would "make it clear that citizenship is not just a lazy person's business." [ed. huh? #1]
Not just that, Alan Keyes also has novel idea for increasing minority employment:
He said exempting slave descendants from income taxes for several generations would make them more appealing to employers from a tax perspective. [ed. huh? #2]
And let's not forget the other burning issue of the day:
The 54-year-old former U.N. ambassador and talk-show personality also said the death penalty must remain in force. Keyes referenced the biblical story in which arrogance about a killing by a descendant of Cain, whom God spared the death penalty, was a contributing factor to the great flood of Noah. Following the flood, God then added a command that killing another would result in death, he said. [ed. huh? #3]
And there's more...

Ok, now I'm really leaving.
