Art Hunt 2007

Lloyd Dobler Gallery is pleased to announce Art Hunt 2007, a group exhibition taking place on the streets of Chicago. This exhibition/scavenger hunt will take place on July 21st from 2-6pm. All are invited to participate. Bring some friends, pick up a list of clues and camera at the gallery, and off you go! Lloyd Dobler wants to highlight all the great things about being outside in the summer, seeing how artists react to a different environment than the traditional gallery space, and invite you to document the pieces yourself. Artists include Cody Hudson, Mia Capodilupo, Brynn Ronning, Vegan, The Viking, The Grocer, Cayetano Ferrer, Revise, Natalia Ivancevich, Leda Zawacki, Sighn and others.

Come back to the gallery when your group has found seven installations (you can try and find them all!), and turn in your camera. Photographs from all the teams will be on display for three weeks following the day of the hunt. The artists will install work in a large perimeter surrounding the gallery. Everyone is invited to walk, bike, rollerblade, skateboard, and use public transportation to find them. Absolutely no cars please! Sponsored in part by the Chicago Cultural Center’s Art of Play.
