So I Guess The War Is Over?
And the boys and girls will be coming home?

He was a very bad man, but it all seems rushed and wrong (I am not a fan of execution in general). Here we're used to people sitting on death row for a dozen years or more while appeal after appeal is lodged.

Perhaps the deposed leader of a country should not be tried and sentenced in the country he was formerly a dictator of, but lord knows, different places do things differently.

Here we give pardons to deposed leaders and honor them (and those who pardoned them) with state funerals. Here we let them invade and slaughter and spy and reelect them and think we're civilized.

That's all.
