Isn't This, Like, Treason?
Papers: Cheney Aide Says Bush OK'd Leak
WASHINGTON - Vice President Dick Cheney's former top aide told prosecutors President Bush authorized the leak of sensitive intelligence information about Iraq, according to court papers filed by prosecutors in the CIA leak case. Please, we really need a blue dress right about now. This man has got to go, and go before the '08 elections. I don't know that the world can survive until then.
Before his indictment, I. Lewis Libby testified to the grand jury investigating the CIA leak that Cheney told him to pass on information and that it was Bush who authorized the disclosure, the court papers say. According to the documents, the authorization led to the July 8, 2003, conversation between Libby and New York Times reporter Judith Miller.
Find sudden, interesting parallels between the president on 24 and this one. Until last week we thought he was just weak and an idiot. Now we know he's insane and evil.
Good morning, friends. Have Wi-Fi at home back, sort of, but only if I stand here typing in the stairwell.
But must be doing art stuff now. Back later after listening to the latest Bad at Sports podcast -- an interview with David Jones of Anchor Graphics and other printmaking topics and people are promised. Yes!
