Priceless
The headline, that is.

Rolling Stone : Memo: Bush Determined to Attack Iraq
-- Bush wanted to illegally goad Saddam into war: "The U.S. was thinking of flying U2 reconnaissance aircraft with fighter cover over Iraq, painted in U.N. colours. If Saddam fired on them, he would be in breach."

-- Both Bush and Blair downplayed the potential for civil war, saying that that it was: "unlikely there would be internecine warfare between the different religious and ethnic groups."
The Times article they quote is indeed juicy, but I wish the memo had been leaked three years ago. What a*holes this pair is! Am not sure who has the wider, deeper, and browner one.

Good evening, friends. Have been quietly working on art projects lately, so have been, well, quiet.

The postcard below is done and trimmed and would have been ready for mailing today except I can't print the back side of it on my printer. My prototype was done on Somerset, which is just a bit softer and more flexible than the BFK. The BFK is so stiff you could stab someone with an edge.

Second thought was to do a quick xerox transfer to stone, print them that way.

Then I think, only an absolute print geek would go through contortions to avoid writing name and address and the phrase, "Etching with aquatint" by hand. I used to do dozens of xmas cards by hand, so what's the big deal?

Guess I know what I'll be doing this evening while watching 24....
