Subject: [gse-aa] Auroral Alert

The arrival of the shock from the last solar flare was 12 hours behind our estimate, so the high auroral activity is occurring over Russia right now (8pm GMT) It will probably continue for another 12 hours so we expect high auroral activity tonight, Jan 21. The southern edge of the aurora should be visible from England, Northern Europe, and middle USA.

Although those in the administration would deny it, since it's kinda sciencey, auroras don't just show up to herald the new Bushian Reign of Freedom. And he hasn't yet figured out how to harness the solar flares to his own agenda. Yet.

And you thought I'd lost all my snark...

Good afternoon, friends. Trying to finish this sweater before it gets too warm to wear it. Front nearly done, only 2 more cables to go, so am counting stitches. Quiet.
