Ohio Early Voting Runs thru Oct 6
Good news for Ohio voters!

NOW GET OUT THERE AND BRING IT IN FOR OBAMA!

State, federal courts uphold early voting in Ohio
COLUMBUS, Ohio - In a defeat for Republican challenges, state and federal courts have cleared the way for a weeklong period in which new voters can register and cast an absentee ballot on the same day in Ohio.

The early voting begins Tuesday and runs through Oct. 6.
The Ohio Supreme Court and a federal judge in Cleveland on Monday upheld the weeklong voting period. Later in the day, U.S. District Court Judge George Smith in Columbus declined to rule, deferring to the state Supreme Court decision.
Why should you do this? A lot of reasons:

1. You can vote at your own convenience, arranging for rides, child care, etc.

2. You can choose a day when it won't be raining or snowing (how many times...)

3. You can volunteer on election day to help at the polls, canvass for your candidates, watch a neighbor's kids, etc.

The opportunity to register AND vote at the same time isn't available in all states (not available in Illinois, for example). So do it. One less voter we have to worry about in November.
