Breaking News: Jan Schakowsky Speaks Thursday
Just called her office and found out that Jan Schakowsky will be speaking at 7 pm Central Time at the Democratic National Convention. This is a huge honor. Just last week she thought they'd stick her at like 3 pm on Wednesday.

I can think of no other person (except maybe Obama himself) more capable of winding up the crowd.

Schedules are mutable, however. If you are placing money on this, you better check with her office directly closer to the day.

UPDATE: She's on the official DNC schedule for 6 pm local time, 7 pm Central Time. It looks to be a terrific program -- WTTW has been doing a really good job so far by actually showing the convention.
