Joe Biden, Our Next VP

When he came to town during the 2004 election cycle, this is what I wrote:
Joe speaks eloquently, seriously, at length about the future of the Supreme Court, about how the U.S. is now viewed around the world, the room nearly silent. In his own state of Delaware, multinational corporations are now telling their overseas employees to say they're Canadian...

He closed with the words of 1995 Nobel Prize winning Irish poet, Seamus Heaney,

History says, Don’t hope
On this side of the grave
But then, once in a lifetime
The tide of justice can rise up
and hope and history rhyme

"Vote like your grandchildren's lives depend on it."
He gets teased a great deal about his love of gab, but he really is a genuinely warm person, and funny, too. This will be a good ticket.
