Where Art and Politics Meet
Got an email from Brooke Parker about an artist-driven fundraiser aiming to drive the repugs from Albany. I know it's not Illinois, but I'm originally from New York, so have an interest in turning the state pure blue:
Downtown for Democracy is hosting an artist curated silent auction called Take Back New York! at Gavin Brown's Enterprise at 620 Greenwich Street (corner of Leroy) on December 7th from 6-10pm (auction closes at 9pm promptly)

The artist/curators are: Rita Ackermann, AA Bronson, Jon Kessler, Damian Loeb, Erik Parker, Peter Saul, Dana Schutz, Haim Steinbach & Banks Violette.
