Illinois, Fear Not
ArchPundit has the goods about the latest Survey USA poll that shows Kerry only up on Bush by 4 percent. A poll taken by the Tribune on the Senate race shows:

9/15/2004
Obama (D) 65%
Keyes (R) 24%
Other/Undecided 12%
Data Collected 9/12/04 - 9/14/04
Sample Population 608 Likely Voters
Margin of Error 4.0%

for the same time period. So if all those Obama voters are going to say, well, I really like Barack Obama's reasonable and moderate view of the future, but I guess I'll just stick with the rest of the nutty Republicans when it comes to president, there might be some validity to SUSA.

Up earlier than usual, but still haven't had coffee, so this may not make sense. AP does, however, so go there.
