Speaking of Wisconsin....
If you're trying to figure out what to do this weekend (and every weekend through the election) blogger buddy "So-Called Austin Mayor" has a good run-down of Wisconsin canvassing trips right here, perfect for leaf-peeping (I swear, it's the official term for checking out the colors).

Grassroots efforts work, especially the deeper into the election we get. Check out also Chicagoland for Kerry for other volunteer opportunities. I am convinced more and more that this thing is win-able, and win-able big.

I'm sure other border towns in blue states have plans to adopt a sister city. Indiana, I feel for you in your redness, but disenfranchised dems can adopt someplace in Ohio and do a world of good.
