Las Vegas Poll: Kerry 75% /Bush 25%
Singer Linda Ronstadt Ejected by Las Vegas Casino
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Singer Linda Ronstadt was thrown out of the Aladdin casino in Las Vegas on the weekend after dedicating a song to liberal film maker Michael Moore and his movie 'Fahrenheit 9/11,' a casino spokeswoman said on Monday....
That dedication angered some Aladdin guests who spilled drinks, tore down posters and demanded their money back, said casino spokeswoman Sara Gorgon.

"We had quite a scene at the box office," she said.

About a quarter of the 4,500 people in the audience got up and left before the performance had finished, Gorgon said.
USA Today has this:
Before singing Desperado for an encore Saturday night, the 58-year-old rocker called Moore a "great American patriot" and "someone who is spreading the truth." She also encouraged everybody to see the documentary about President Bush.
Hmmmm.... wondering whether it was orchestrated. 1000 people leaving a theater doesn't sound like "some" to me. I bet it was more like 25 people caused a ruckus and left, not a quarter of the audience.

Groundbreaking at Woodstock Concert Site for Permanent Music and Arts Center
Construction crews spent last month moving earth and paving the road to make room for the amphitheater on a hillside overlooking the old concert stage. Officials of the nonprofit foundation that owns the historic spot and surrounding land about 80 miles north of New York City gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony.

Good evening, folks. A week to the Democratic Convention, can you believe it? I've put up some links to the side, and may start putting up more, and even pay attention to the platform, etc., which is usually pretty banal and obvious and not really the point, anyway. However, this is the way it's done in these United States, so you better not disagree, you hear??!! Damn liberal terrorists....

Desperado?
