Wisconsin Update
My eyes popped when I got the email telling us that the 140 volunteers from Illinois who went to Beloit and Madison on Saturday collected 821 absentee ballots from devoted Democrats (I scored only one, my canvass partner scored 6).
This is 821 people who don't have to worry about the weather, or whether the lines are long. They can also volunteer on the day of the election and help drive people to the polls, or watch their kids, or whatever. This is 821 people who won't be hammered every night by phone canvassers, or have goofy students show up one after the other, talking about this issue or that issue, or begging for this candidate or that.
We'll be going again somewhere this weekend. Check out the action here.
And the answer to the painting quiz below -- my painting is on the right.
Nite, nite.
