On the Bush Trail
The schedule for Bush cyberstalkers today via The Note:

— 11:40 am: President Bush, with Senator John McCain, speaks at a rally at the Pensacola Civic Center, Pensacola, FL

— 3:00 pm: President Bush, with Senator McCain, participates in an "Ask President Bush" event at Okaloosa-Walton College, Niceville, FL

— 6:45 pm: President Bush, with Senator McCain, speaks at a rally at the Panama City Marina, Panama City, FL

Why Niceville, you ask?

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems
Niceville Operations
4565 Commercial Drive
Niceville, FL 32578

Is possibly the answer.
General Dynamics Combat Systems is becoming the world’s preferred supplier of land and amphibious combat system development, production and support. Its product line includes a full spectrum of armored vehicles, light wheeled reconnaissance vehicles, suspensions, engines, transmissions, guns and ammunition handling systems, turret and turret drive systems, and reactive armor and ordnance.
He's possibly found the only place in the state where there haven't been recent massive layoffs.

I find it odd that the official transcript of Bush's remarks at a political rally is posted on the whitehouse.gov web site, that I as a taxpayer am paying for.
I'm running with a good man in Dick Cheney. Listen, I recognize he's not the prettiest face on the ticket. (Laughter.) I didn't pick him [ed. correct: as head of the vp search committee, he picked himself] for his looks. I picked him because of his experience, and his sound judgment, and his ability to do the [ed. should read, "my"] job. (Applause.)
The strength of this country is the hearts and souls of our citizens; that's the strength of America. Over the next four years, I'll continue to rally the armies of compassion [ed. see below], and call upon people to help solve some of the most difficult problems of our society. Government can hand out money; it can't put hope in a person's heart, or a sense of purpose in a person's life. That happens when a loving soul puts their arm around a lonely heart [ed. !!!] and says, I love you, what can I do to help you. (Applause.)
You really don't want to read all this -- oh, go ahead -- it's pretty funny.
