Media Whores, Part MMMXCCXXXa, b,c (1.1 and 2)
Keyes a hot property
Alan Keyes is not expected to formally kick off his Republican U.S. Senate campaign against Democrat Barack Obama until this afternoon, but the former presidential candidate is already a hot ticket with the national media.

A GOP strategist said Keyes has received more than 100 requests -- everyone from Tim Russert of NBC's "Meet the Press" to ABC-TV's George Stephanopoulos to CNN's Paula Zahn, Aaron Brown and Wolf Blitzer to Fox News' Sean Hannity to HBO's Bill Maher to WKQX-FM radio shock jock Mancow Muller. [ed. the only one I want to see is Jon Stewart on the Daily Show -- best journalist out there, except maybe the guys at The Onion].

"I'm waiting for Japanese TV to call," said the strategist, who is close to Keyes.
Yes, do that. People from Japan can't vote in Illinois, last I looked, but go over there and give an interview, please. Maybe Keyes can try running for the Mayor of Tokyo next.

I think I failed to mention that on the Voter Registration trail yesterday, the fierceness of comments in support of Barack Obama has increased greatly since my first foray out last week. Voters are not stupid in this state, and Democrats and Republicans are both very, very mad.

You look at the list again of interview hosts and you say, god, it's so overweighted in their favor, and you feel so very, very depressed. But that's what they want. So we won't feel that way, will we? We will go register another voter and pass out more buttons and give to Obama and the other Democrats and stop this shit right now.
