It's been less than 24 hours since I finished The Sweater, and I'm already getting the shakes. Went out this afternoon to get the buttons (and apparently lost one between the knitting store and home), but the sweater goes on its big photo shoot tomorrow (so exciting).
But while there, bought a cone of raw silk (about a pound), so will start experimenting with ultra light weight summer wear. Always tricky to find cool things to wear to summer art events (your basic winter art opening black always looks ghoulish on a pleasant summer eve). Thinking about this. Suggestions welcome.
So goes the latest. Listening to Randi Rhodes this pm on Air America live internet feed (they've started doing tape delay here in Chicago -- can't figure out why -- since I'm sure it discourages call-ins) -- but the streaming feed has been really steady (assuming I hold the computer up to the window at a 43 degree angle from the upstairs back bedroom).
